Mike Perkins FRICS FAAV

Mike attended Stamford School and went on to study at London University. He obtained a post graduate diploma from Wye College before joining George Mawer & Co. in 1963. After becoming a partner in 1969 the firm evolved and expanded, culminating in the opportunity to gain independence. Mike founded Perkins, George Mawer & Co. in 1997 and he now employs over 15 full and part time staff from the Market Rasen office.

Nicholas Sharp BSc (Hons) MRICS FAAV

Nicholas Sharp qualified as a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor after graduating from Harper Adams Agricultural College. He joined Perkins, George Mawer & Co. in 1998 having previously worked in both the public and private sectors as a Land Agent. Nicholas is engaged in all aspects of professional work with specialist knowledge of pipelines, cables and wires, Single Farm Payment and farm machinery sales. He became a partner in the firm in 2005.

Neil Smith MNAEA

Neil has over 30 years experience in Estate Agency and is our residential valuer providing market appraisals and advice for residential properties in the area. Neil has spent most of his career in the local area but has also worked in Real Estate during time spent in Sydney, Australia.

Katherine Phillips MSc. MRICS, FAAV
Originating from a farming family in East Yorkshire, Kath qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 and spent 12 years training and working in both South and North Lincolnshire as a rural surveyor. She joined Perkins, George Mawer & Co. in 2006 and specialises in rent reviews, valuations and land agency.

Ralph Wyrley-Birch BSc (Hons) MRICS

Ralph studied Land Management at Reading University where he went on to work for Savills and Smiths Gore before joining the firm in 2011, the same year as he qualified. Ralph now works in our Agricultural Department where he deals regularly in various different types of management, valuation and professional work as well as being involved in farm agency and auctioneering.

Sharon Lloyd 

Sharon first joined the firm in the 1980’s working in our Agricultural Department of what was then Mawer Mason & Bell. She then left to join a local property developer and antique dealer as his assistant developing properties locally and also administering his retail outlet.  She returned to the newly named firm as it is known today in 2002 as part of the Residential Sales team.

Melissa Hodds

Melissa has a wide range of experience having previously worked for various home builders and developers throughout Lincolnshire. Prior to joining the firm she worked for various other local agents before joining Perkins George Mawer & Co. in 2007. She manages our Lettings Department and enjoys the varied challenges that she deals with on a daily basis.

Mary Staniland 

Mary joined Perkins George Mawer & Co in 2010 having graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2007 where she studied business and marketing . Having previously spent two years working for  Woldmarsh in their fertiliser & marketing department, Mary is now one of our residential sales negotiators. Her interests include horse riding and all other outdoor pursuits.

Laura Kirkwood 

Laura has been with the firm since 2009 and is progressing through her apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst working in the Lettings department. Laura has an agricultural background and enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits.

Sam Rodger

Sam has lived in Market Rasen most of her life, and after leaving De Aston School went on to joint a local firm of Accountants where she worked for 15 years.  After a short spell working for the Halifax Estate Agency, she took the position of part-time to Secretary to Mike Perkins which she has been doing for the last 3 years.
